The Alliance Scotland - Health and Social Care
I'm very pleased to have been accepted as a Professional Associate Member of Alliance Scotland (Health and Social Care).
The Alliance has a membership of over 1500 organisations and individuals working together, working together to ensure the voice of people who are disabled, living with long term conditions or delivering unpaid care is our driving force. It is a privilege to be a member of this cross-sector community working to improve the lives of people who use health and social care services in Scotland.
The Alliance website (www.alliance-scotland.org.uk) is a useful resource of projects and initiatives across Scotland which are working to improve the lives of those struggling with illness. My particular interest in in self-management strategies, techniques, and resources, of which I believe storytelling and narrative approaches have much to offer.
