"Become aware what is in you. Announce it, pronounce it, produce it and give birth to it." - Meister Eckhart

Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with numerous storytellers, performers, teachers, therapists, social, mental health and community workers and many others who work with people in a variety of settings. During this time I have developed a narrative-based approach to my coaching and supervision work.

Whether in person or via Skype/Face Time, I create a safe space for you to share your story.

I act as both a "mirror" and a "window". As a "mirror", I reflect what I see, hear, and intuit during our session. I watch your expressions and gestures and body language carefully; I listen to your words and the story you tell; and share my intuitions. I do not judge you, I do not give advice, but rather offer you information for you to decide what to do next. I believe in your ability to find the way forward, to discover solutions to the challenges that face you. Our sessions are an opportunity to share what matters to you in confidence.

I also act as a "window", offering to "re-frame" your perceptions so you have the advantage of seeing your situation from multiple perspectives. In this way, you have options, different ways of experiencing your situation or story. Having different perspectives gives you the benefit of a deeper and broader understanding of your situation and/or that of your clients.

1 year (12 sessions); half-year (6 sessions); and three-month (3 sessions) supervision sessions via Skype/Face Time available  - Contact me for pricing.

Email check-ins included.

Note: I will only be supervising 6 clients in 2017. Please email me to discuss your needs - iamthestoryteller@gmail.com

It has been lovely to work with you. . . . We are hopeful this project will give rise to future storytelling endeavours, and would be very happy to work with you again if the opportunity arises!" Muireann Crowley, At Home in Scotland, University of Edinburgh, May 2014 ("Storytelling, Research and Public Engagement" workshop)
